The project is a local recruitment agency that helps both companies and candidates to find their dream places.

Being at the top of search results is crucial, especially in such a competitive industry. That’s why the primary goal was to enhance their visibility in search engine results and attract more potential clients with our organic SEO services. We considered SEO for recruitment websites as one of the traffic sources in their strategy, so the next 6 months we’ve focused on achieving it.

The Challenge

The client contacted us in November 2023 to enhance their visibility in search engine results and attract more potential clients.

In planning our strategy for this project, we faced challenges such as a limited number of keywords and low keyword volume, technical challenges, and difficulty in selecting referring domains in SEO for the recruitment industry.

The regional keyword volume was significantly lower, and the number of relevant keywords was limited, making it challenging to optimize for high-impact search terms.

Also, a real challenge requiring extensive research and careful selection was finding suitable and high-quality referring domains for backlinks.

When it came to the technical part, we faced complexities with the website’s JavaScript framework, that needed to be addressed to ensure Google could accurately crawl and index the page structure.
It seems like a lot of work to do, right? But you don’t need to be an expert in everything when you are finding the right SEO consulting agency.

Starting with competitor analysis and a site audit, we created a promotion strategy that included on-page and off-page promotions and followed it for the next 6 months.

Execution / Optimization Process

During the audit, some problems were identified on the site:

  • poor site structure and lack of meta tags;
  • problems with crawling the website;
  • non-SEO friendly URL links;
  • technical errors;

After a certain period, these problems were solved.

Technical audit

A thorough technical audit of the SourceFlow website helped us to identify medium-priority technical errors impacting the ranking of focus pages. Then we compiled a list of tasks for the developer to address these issues.

Analyzed the optimization of high-traffic pages for top services. Assessed competitors, finding their strengths and weaknesses. Ended up identifying and rectifying pages that were not being indexed as they should have been.

Page optimization

When planning an SEO for a recruitment company – it cannot be the end. That’s why we proceeded with on-page optimization, which included keyword research for primary service pages. We reviewed current positions for these keywords and evaluated page optimization levels. Then we optimized the structure of H1-H4 headers and created new meta tags (titles and descriptions). Increased the number of internal anchor links to focus service pages.

What’s after? – Right, off-page optimization. Where we analyzed competitors’ backlink profiles and created new guest posts and outreach materials.

We secured new mentions of the brand in articles featuring top local recruitment services, searched for brand mentions in the SERPs, and added links to the website where they were missing.

External promotion

A strategy was created for the project, which required publishing guest posts and placing links in business listings.

Our B2B SEO agency helped our client improve their online visibility, achieve higher search engine rankings, and attract more potential candidates and employers to their recruitment agency.
